The Members & Access tab in Skoppe gives organization owners and authorized administrators one place to manage the people connected to the company account. You can review members, search and filter the team, understand billing impact, and open an individual member to update their role, status, permissions, and project access.
Before you begin
Your ability to invite or edit members depends on your organization role and permissions. Owners and authorized administrators can manage organization-level access. Some options may be unavailable for members with limited permissions, and owner access may be protected from changes that would leave the organization without an owner.
Manage members and access
- Open Organization Settings and select Members & Access from the left navigation.
- Review the summary at the top of the page for total members, pending invitations, billable seats, and added monthly cost.
- Use Search members to find a person by name or email.
- Use the Role and Status filters to narrow the member list.
- Review each row to see the member's role, current status, project-access count, and billing classification.
- Select Edit next to a member to update their access settings.
- Choose the appropriate organization role and status for the member.
- Review the role summary to understand the default access included with that role.
- Open Customize permissions only when the member needs access that differs from the normal role defaults.
- Choose whether the member should access all projects, selected projects, or no projects.
- Select Manage projects to add or remove access to individual construction projects.
- Review the billing impact before saving, especially when a change adds or removes a paid seat.
- Select Save changes to update the member.

FAQ
How do I invite a new organization member?
Open Members & Access and select Invite Member. Enter the requested member information, choose the appropriate access options, and send the invitation.
How do I change a member's role?
Select Edit beside the member, choose a new value in the Role field, review the updated role summary and billing impact, and then save the changes.
What does Customize permissions do?
Customize permissions lets an authorized administrator override supported organization-level permissions for one member. Most members should follow the normal defaults provided by their role.
How do I limit a member to certain projects?
Edit the member, set Project access to Selected projects, and choose Manage projects. Select the projects the member should be able to access, apply the selection, and save the member changes.
What is a billable seat?
A billable seat is an organization member whose role and status create an additional monthly subscription charge. The member list and edit screen show the applicable billing impact.
Why can I not edit a particular member or permission?
Some roles and permissions are restricted to owners or authorized administrators. Skoppe may also prevent changes that would remove required owner access or grant permissions above your own access level.
Does removing project access remove the member from the organization?
No. Organization membership and project access are separate. A member can remain part of the organization while having access to only selected projects or no projects.
Where do I manage the subscription and payment method?
Open the Billing tab in Organization Settings. That section contains the plan, seat costs, payment method, billing history, and subscription controls.
