Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about Skoppe, including scope management, budgeting, subcontractor access, punch lists, and early access.

What is Skoppe?

Skoppe is construction management software that helps GCs, subs, and owners manage scope, budgets, tasks, punch lists, and project communication in one place.

Who is Skoppe for?

Skoppe is built for general contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, site managers, and construction teams.

Is Skoppe only for general contractors?

No. GCs manage the full project, but subs and owners can also use Skoppe with role-based access. Subs see assigned work. Owners get view-only project visibility.

Does Skoppe manage budgets?

Yes. Skoppe helps track project budgets by trade, including estimated amounts, awarded amounts, payments, differences, and GC commission settings.

Does Skoppe replace spreadsheets?

Skoppe can reduce the need for spreadsheets by keeping scope, budgets, tasks, and punch lists connected in one place. Some teams may still use spreadsheets for accounting or reporting, but Skoppe becomes the working project system.

Can subcontractors log in?

Yes. Subcontractors can be invited to a project and assigned to a trade. They only see the projects and work assigned to them.

Can owners log in?

Yes. Owners can get controlled, view-only access to project information.

Does Skoppe have punch lists?

Yes. Skoppe includes punch list tools for creating, assigning, reviewing, closing, and reopening punch items.

Is Skoppe mobile-friendly?

Yes. Skoppe is designed to work well on mobile devices, especially for field use.

Is Skoppe available now?
